It's up to you, New York, New York

Hi! I was lucky enough to visit the great state of New York this past weekend. My friend Molly and I traveled to the city of Homer for a wedding gig and then detoured just a tad to NYC. 😊

One of the beautiful neighborhoods in Homer.

Such a neat little town!

In Cortland, NY, just a short drive over.
Where the wedding ceremony was!

We also played music for the reception that was held at The Sherman House.

So beautifully decorated!

Coffee Mania was delicious!
Molly and I had some time to explore around Homer. I just couldn't get enough of these cute houses! Each of them is completely unique.

Dasher's Corner Pub!
The next day we traveled over to New Jersey to meet up with friends and then headed into the city!

Bryant Park
Ahh, we got to see the original cast perform Anastasia! This was one of my favorite animated movies as a little girl. I loved the live version even more. Just perfect!

💞💞💞

Right across from the theater is John's Pizzeria. Super cool place. It used to be a church and they kept many of the stained glass windows and hanging lights. The pizza was 👌 as well!

Note to self: Never eat more than one slice of NY pizza, no matter how much you want to. 😨

😂 Lol.

You alone can make my song take flight!

We got to spend a second day in the city! We started off by exploring Central Park. It was a super chilly and dreary day, but still beautiful!

The Shakespeare Garden in Central Park!

The view on top of Belvedere Castle in Central Park!

You can't go to New York and not get a bagel! Zucker's Bagels and Smoked Fish hit the spot.

Greenwich Village
Washington Square Park!
Walking along the Hudson.

Freedom Tower

First time visiting the September 11th memorial site. It was a very humbling experience.
