Well, hey!
It's been a few months, but I haven't forgotten about you! I had a birthday earlier this month on March 5th. All I can think about is that I am closer to age 30 than age 20. 😦  People aren't kidding when they say time flies the older you get.
Here are 26 things I've learned and would've liked my younger self to know.
- High school doesn't matter. Stop stressing so badly over it. You will get bullied for being a "good girl" and a "rule follower". Do not listen to them. You have friends who love you just the way you are.
 - People are going to tell you that you laugh and smile too much. Don't listen to them. Laugh and smile all you want.
 - Stop wearing "Sinful" shirts from Buckle.
 - You will experience 3 car wrecks. You will not fully be able to feel safe in a vehicle from then on.
 - Keep an eye out for your brother. He is going through some difficult changes. Get him help as soon as you can.
 - You will learn so much about yourself and the world at college. Enjoy every day of it.
 - You will get braces and no longer be scared to smile.
 - You will live in AR, TN, and WV. You will move to multiple houses and apartments.
 - Convince your dad to have his eye checked. It's a tumor and you could save his sight.
 - Don't avoid red flags in your relationship. They are bothering you for a reason and that reason is valid.
 - You are an Introvert. There is nothing wrong with you. There are others just like you!
 - You will work as an Administrative Assistant for one year. You will deal with the rudest, most terrible people ever. You will learn a lot from this job, though.
 - You will meet this sweet, blonde girl in orchestra at Marshall. Little do you know, she will be the best friend you'll ever have in life.
 - Attend music and church camps. Stop wasting your summers.
 - Don't change yourself for someone. You want someone to love you for the genuine you. This is SO important.
 - Try to understand your dad better. Listen to what he has to say about the church. Ask him questions and learn.
 - Those are called cramps. You aren't actually dying.
 - Don't wear that much eyeliner.
 - Your boobs are fine. Stop hating on them. Also, stop hating on your entire body. You're gorgeous.
 - You don't need approval from guys. Focus on yourself.
 - Focus more on your music in high school. It will be a huge part of your life.
 - You will experience the worst heartbreak of your life. It will hit you in the face and come out of nowhere. You will not know what to do. You will feel completely alone and stupid. Thankfully, you have friends who are there to listen. Friends who care. A support system. They love you. You will learn SOOO much from this heartbreak. You will be better for it. You will learn the true meaning of forgiveness. You will find your way again. Your eyes will be opened. You are going to be FINE. 😊
 - Don't wear flare pants and tuck them into boots.
 - Work more jobs. Get more experience.
 - People will take advantage of your talents. No, you will not work for free.
 - You make it to at least 26! 😅

Phew, some of that was deep. Here are some photos from my birthday weekend trip to Knoxville, TN.
