Hello! We had a wonderful week in London and lucked out with not one drop of rain! Enjoy some snapshots from one of my favorite trips!
Victoria Tower at Westminster in the background
10 hour flight directly from Phoenix to Heathrow!
Uzumaki London Restaurant - we had some delicious Ramen and Boba tea on our first evening in London!
Some tasty sour dough pizza, salt & vinegar chips, and creamy chocolate!
The legendary red double decker bus and view from our hotel room! (you can see Big Ben waaaay in the back!) We stayed at the St. Giles in Soho.
My favorite part of our day! This corner cafe was right by our hotel and we would eat pastries, crêpes, and drink cappuccinos before starting our daily adventures!
It was SO GOOD every day!
😍
Are you kidding me with this crêpe?!
We went to Liturgy at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Cathedral! Coffee hour was in the "Crypt" beneath the Cathedral - we met some very nice parishioners!
Hyde Park!
We spent probably 8-10 hours in the British Museum during the week! There were endless amounts of rooms and artifacts to explore!
Big Ben! The London Marathon was also happening when we were there! It was fun to cheer the runners making it to the finish line!
Soho Square Gardens above and National Portrait Gallery below
A Sphinx on the Thames!
Covent Garden! Parts of My Fair Lady were filmed here!
Delicious hand-pulled noodles and Japanese food!
More from my favorite corner cafe!
Found the Muffin Man 😉
Westminster Abbey was so worth it! We walked around for a couple of hours. They gave us a special phone to follow along a guided listening tour for each part of the Abbey!
We traveled towards Canary Warf specifically to visit this pub called The Grapes! It is owned by actor Sir Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. Gandalf's actual staff is behind the bar! This is one of the oldest pubs in London and Charles Dickens also frequented it.
This Shepherd's pie was goooood!
Breakfast at a London diner!
More British Museum 😊
St. George's Gardens
King's Cross Station! Of course we had to visit Platform 9 3/4! 🗲
Turmeric latte!
We had just about an hour to explore the Victoria and Albert Museum before we headed over to see Les Misérables!
Before we cried for 3 hours 😅 "To love another person is to see the face of God." 😭
Found a walk-in Barbery and Trey decided to get a haircut!
This gelato did not last long, dark chocolate and fresh cherry!
This was the most delicious Lebanese food ever, I am still dreaming about it.
More tasty pastries and pretty buildings!
We loved the easy public transit!
Reading in Hyde Park 😊
Van Goph's "A Wheatfield, with Cypresses" and "Sunflowers"

Cheers! 👑
